What is NVGS?
Navigator Holdings Ltd. owns and operates a fleet of handy-size liquefied gas carriers. The firm provides international and regional seaborne transportation services of petrochemical gases, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and ammonia for energy companies, industrial users, and commodity traders. The firm also owns a 50% share in an ethylene export marine terminal at Morgan’s Point, Texas on the Houston Ship Channel, United States. The firm owns and operates 59 semi- or fully refrigerated liquefied gas carriers each having a cargo capacity of between 3,770 cubic meters (cbm) and 38,000 cbm, of which 28 were ethylene and ethane-capable vessels. These gases are transported in liquefied form, by applying cooling and/or pressure, to reduce volume by up to 900 times depending on the cargo, making their transportation more efficient and economical. Its services include Maritime Logistics, and Ship Shore Infrastructure, among others.
