The company has developed two different pathways to gasoline production, namely natural gas-to-gasoline and biomass-to-gasoline. In each case, syngas are generated from the feedstock, which is then further refined through the STG+ process to produce reformulated blendstock for oxygenated blending (RBOB) gasoline. The gasoline produced is suitable in quality to be considered a drop-in substitute for gasoline derived from petroleum refining. Its technology generates in-basin demand for associated natural gas resulting from oil production, alleviating pipeline and takeaway constraints.
