Prudential plc (02378.HK) announced a significant expansion in profitability for its 2025 fiscal year. The insurer's net profit climbed 74.1% year-over-year to reach $3.978 billion. This bottom-line growth was supported by a 7% increase in annual turnover, which rose to $11.08 billion. The strong performance translated directly to earnings per share (EPS), which was reported at US154.2 cents.

Annual Dividend Increased 15% on Strong Performance

Reflecting its robust financial results, Prudential increased its returns to shareholders. The company declared a second interim dividend of US18.89 cents per share for the period ended December 2025, up from the US16.29 cents distributed in the prior-year period. This brought the total dividend for the full year to US26.6 cents per share, marking a 15% increase compared to the previous year and underscoring management's confidence in the company's financial strength and outlook.
