Check-Cap Ltd. is a clinical stage medical diagnostics company, which engages in the development of ingestible imaging capsule systems for colorectal cancer screening. Check Cap Ltd develops C-Scan, a patient-friendly preparation-free test designed to detect polyps before they may transform into cancer to enable early intervention and cancer prevention. Its capsule-based screening technology aims to increase screening adherence worldwide. The system utilizes ultra-low-dose X-rays to scan the inner lining of the colon for precancerous polyps and other structural abnormalities. C-Scan is a non-invasive capsule that is propelled through the gastrointestinal tract by natural motility.
