NEAR was created on 2013-09-25 by iShares. The fund's investment portfolio concentrates primarily on investment grade fixed income. The ETF currently has 4175.32m in AUM and 1457 holdings. NEAR provides active management to a portfolio of USD-denominated fixed- and floating-rate debt securities with investment grade rating and of varying maturities. It aims for a three years or less effective duration while seeking total return.
