Lovable, the Stockholm-based vibe-coding startup, is betting its enterprise future on Google Cloud with a deal that quintuples its infrastructure footprint.
Lovable's expanded multi-year collaboration with Google Cloud makes the hyperscaler a primary technology partner, anchoring the startup's platform on Gemini models and AI-optimized infrastructure as it targets corporate buyers.
"More people than ever can turn an idea into real software, but building is just the beginning," Anton Osika, CEO and co-founder of Lovable, said. "Our expanded work with Google Cloud gives builders even more security, governance and reliability when creating."
The agreement involves a fivefold increase in Lovable's Google Cloud usage, including expanded access to Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini models, according to a person with knowledge of the deal. Lovable, which crossed $400 million in annualized revenue in February after adding $100 million in a single month, now processes more than one million new projects every week with just 146 employees. The company says more than half of Fortune 500 companies use its product in some capacity.
For Google, the partnership helps fund its $180 billion to $190 billion in planned capital expenditures this year while strengthening its enterprise AI narrative against AWS and Azure. Lovable gets simplified procurement through Google Cloud Marketplace and a security layer via Wiz, Google's $32 billion acquisition, addressing the central anxiety about AI-generated code in regulated environments.
Three Pillars, One Enterprise Pitch
The collaboration rests on three components designed to remove barriers to corporate adoption. Lovable's agent is now available in Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery, a vetted catalogue that lets corporate customers deploy with assurance. A new integration with Wiz identifies and remediates vulnerabilities in AI-generated code in real time, adding continuous scanning, dependency checks and audit trails. The third pillar — simplified procurement and billing through Google Cloud Marketplace — addresses the quiet but real barrier of enterprise purchasing channels.
The Anthropic Connection
The deal also benefits Anthropic, in which Google invested $10 billion in cash and compute credits in April, with another $30 billion contingent on performance targets. Lovable's growth — $400 million in annualized revenue from 146 employees — helps Anthropic hit those targets. The arrangement slots into Google's broader campaign to win the "agentic enterprise," the same push behind its $750 million partner fund for agentic AI.
Lovable, valued at roughly $6.6 billion by the end of 2025 after raising a $200 million Series A at a $1.8 billion valuation, competes with Cursor, Replit and Bolt in the crowded vibe-coding space. The Google Cloud deal gives it distribution and infrastructure advantages as those rivals race for the same enterprise budgets. For Google, keeping both Lovable and Anthropic growing on its cloud helps justify the $85 billion in equity it is selling to fund its record capital spending.
