IMPACT THERAP-B (07630.HK), a biotechnology firm, launched its Hong Kong initial public offering to raise up to HKD 910 million (USD 116 million).
The IPO has secured a group of cornerstone investors including Tencent Holdings Ltd., LAV, and WWHCP, who have subscribed for a total of USD 35.74 million in shares.
The company is offering 41.977 million H-shares at an indicative price range of HKD 19.75 to HKD 21.75 per share. Ten percent of these shares are allocated for the Hong Kong public offering, with a board lot of 200 shares costing an entry fee of HKD 4,393.90.
The public subscription period will close on May 8, with the company expected to make its trading debut on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's Main Board on May 13.
The successful listing will provide the commercial-stage biotech company with significant capital to advance its pipeline. The first day of trading on May 13 will be a key test of investor appetite for the biotech sector in Hong Kong.
