Bitget Wallet has integrated Robinhood Chain, becoming one of the first self-custodial wallets to support the Ethereum Layer 2 network built for tokenized real-world assets.
"Decentralized finance unlocks possibilities beyond what traditional finance can offer, but historically, it has required technical expertise to navigate," Johann Kerbrat, senior vice president of crypto at Robinhood, said at the company's London launch event.
Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum technology, processed more than $2 billion in real-world asset transfer volume during its testnet phase, according to the company. The mainnet went live July 1 alongside a suite of products including Stock Tokens available in over 120 countries and Robinhood Earn, a decentralized lending product offering an estimated 7 percent yield on USDG.
The integration lets Bitget Wallet users hold and trade tokenized stocks directly on-chain while maintaining control of their private keys, expanding the utility of self-custodial wallets into traditional equity markets. Robinhood's tokenized stock products are now fully live on mainnet, allowing 24/7 trading and use across DeFi applications including lending protocols and as collateral, the company said.
The partnership comes as Robinhood deepens its push beyond brokerage services into onchain financial infrastructure. The company also announced plans to expand perpetual futures trading in Europe to include commodities, ETFs and foreign exchange alongside crypto, and launched AI-powered Agentic Accounts for eligible US users. Robinhood shares rose 5 percent on the day of the announcement.
Bitget Wallet joins a growing ecosystem of launch partners including BitGo, which added day-one custody and wallet support for Robinhood Chain, and 1inch, which integrated routing and swap infrastructure for the network's tokenized assets. The collaboration signals the industry's push to bridge traditional finance with blockchain technology through tokenization.
