- Bitget Wallet has integrated 130 tokenized equities from the xStocks platform.
- The move provides over 90 million users with access to Real World Assets (RWAs).
- This integration reflects a growing trend of tokenizing securities on public blockchains.

Bitget Wallet announced the integration of 130 tokenized equities from the Kraken-backed xStocks platform on May 19, expanding Real World Asset (RWA) access for its more than 90 million users as the global tokenized stock market nears a $1.5 billion capitalization.
"Avalanche was built for exactly what mortgage tokenization demands: sub-second finality, predictable transaction costs, and the throughput to support repeated lifecycle events at institutional scale," said Olivia Vande Woude, Tokenization Lead at Ava Labs, highlighting the infrastructure's suitability for such RWA initiatives.
The integration allows users to hold and trade representations of traditional equities directly within the Bitget crypto wallet. This development is part of a larger industry trend of bringing traditional financial assets onto public blockchain infrastructure, with platforms like Rezy.Fi recently launching tokenized mortgage-backed securities on the Avalanche network.
This move strengthens the RWA narrative, which is a key growth sector for the digital asset space. By bridging traditional finance with crypto-native environments, the integration could drive significant user engagement and asset inflow for Bitget Wallet while increasing pressure on competing platforms to offer similar tokenized securities.
The expansion of RWAs on-chain is not limited to equities. The recent launch of Rezy.Fi's mortgage tokenization platform, using Nomyx's issuance engine on Avalanche, shows growing momentum for tokenizing a wide range of real-world assets. These systems are designed to handle the full lifecycle of a security, from investor onboarding and KYC/AML verification to ownership tracking and reporting, all on a public ledger. The choice of blockchains like Avalanche for these products is critical, providing the speed and low transaction costs necessary to support institutional-grade volume and activity.
