Apollo Silver Corp. (TSX.V:APGO, OTCQB:APGOF) reported high-grade silver, gold, and barite assay results from its Calico Project in California, with one outcrop sample grading as high as 1,280 grams per tonne (g/t) silver.
"This exploration field program has advanced our understanding of the potential for additional significant mineralization at Calico," Ross McElroy, President and CEO of Apollo Silver, said in a statement. "Encouraging gold and silver results...reinforce our confidence in the upside prospectivity for additional discoveries at Calico."
The results are from a ground geological mapping and sampling program conducted in December 2025 across the project's Mule, Waterloo, and Langtry properties. Besides the high-grade silver at Mule, the program also confirmed gold grades up to 4.85 g/t at the Burcham prospect and high-grade zinc up to 30.0 percent in specularite manto zones.
These findings provide new exploration targets ahead of a planned 5,500-metre drill program and a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the project, which is now expected in the third quarter of 2026. The Calico project already hosts one of the largest undeveloped primary silver resources in the United States.
Mule Property Delivers High-Grade Silver
The highest silver values from the program came from the Pickhandle Formation volcanic rocks at the Mule Property, which is an exploration-stage target with no current mineral resources defined. Select samples from historical workings returned 1,280 g/t silver and 221 g/t silver, confirming the unit is an important target for systematic follow-up work.
Burcham and Waterloo Show Gold and Zinc Potential
At the Burcham Mine area within the Waterloo Property, infill rock sampling returned multiple anomalous gold results, including 4.85 g/t, 3.70 g/t, and 3.59 g/t. The company also confirmed previously documented specularite mantos with high-grade zinc concentrations of 30.0 percent and 27.6 percent. Apollo plans to test the Burcham gold potential with a 1,000-metre exploration drill program with the goal of expanding the existing gold resource.
Sampling at the contact between the Lower Barstow and Pickhandle formations at Waterloo also returned silver assays of 149 g/t and 139 g/t.
Barite Confirmed at Langtry
The program also confirmed the presence of significant barite mineralization at the Langtry property, with assays up to 76.12 percent. Barite is already part of the Mineral Resource Estimate at the Waterloo property, and these results confirm its prospectivity at Langtry. The Calico project's 2025 resource estimate includes an Indicated Resource of 2.7 million tonnes of barite.
