The Company’s primary business is the acquisition, development and management of multifamily residential properties. The firm owns and manages approximately 318 properties consisting of 86,320 apartment units in dynamic metro areas across the United States. with a primary concentration in major coastal markets, diversified by a targeted presence in the metro areas of Atlanta, Austin, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Denver. The firm is the general partner of, owning an approximately 97.5% ownership interest in, ERP Operating Limited Partnership (ERPOP). All of the Company’s property ownership, development and related business operations are conducted through the Operating Partnership and the Company has no material assets or liabilities other than its investment in ERPOP. ERPOP is focused on conducting the multifamily property business of the Company.
