The Specialty Chemicals business segment includes EMS-PATVAG, which specializes in igniters for airbag gas generators, and EMS-GRILTECH, which manufactures and sells Grilon, Nexylon and Nexylene fibers, Griltex hotmelt adhesives, Grilbond adhesion promoters, Primid crosslinkers for powder-coatings and Grilonit reactive diluents.
