KAITO's 20% slide in 24 hours follows rising exchange inflows and seller-dominant order flow, pointing to further downside risk.

KAITO fell 20 percent over the past 24 hours, extending losses as trading volume rose 8.88 percent to $71.38 million, according to CoinGecko data. The decline erased a significant portion of gains accumulated after the Kaito Katalyst launch on July 29, which linked staking rewards to creator campaign token distributions.
CoinGlass data shows KAITO recorded positive spot netflows of approximately $487,110, indicating more tokens moved onto exchanges than left during the latest session. Recent sessions also recorded several notable inflow spikes, revealing exchange deposits increased as volatility expanded. Rising exchange-held supply adds pressure on buyers because it increases available selling inventory.
The 90-day Spot Taker CVD remained seller-dominant throughout the correction, according to CryptoQuant data. Market sell orders consistently exceeded aggressive buy orders, confirming sellers retained control of spot trading activity. This imbalance typically reduces the effectiveness of dip-buying efforts because aggressive sellers continue absorbing available demand.
KAITO fell below the $0.95 support level after failing to preserve its previous upward structure. The Relative Strength Index dropped to 49.28, slipping beneath both the neutral 50 threshold and its moving average at 68.26, reflecting weakening buying strength. The Parabolic SAR printed above price at 1.3535, confirming bearish trend control following the recent reversal.
Exchange inflows and order flow signal sustained distribution
The combination of positive spot netflows and seller-dominant CVD suggests distribution rather than accumulation. While positive netflows alone do not confirm continued downside, they align with the broader weakness visible across the market. Unless inflows moderate over the coming sessions, recovery attempts would likely encounter stronger selling interest before establishing a sustainable rebound.
KAITO's decline also comes as broader AI-token sentiment on Base cools. The token had been among the most traded AI assets on Base in recent weeks, alongside Venice (VVV) and MIRA, according to exchange data. Bitcoin dominance at 56.22 percent continues to pressure altcoin valuations across the sector.
Reclaiming $0.95 is the immediate recovery requirement
The technical outlook would improve if KAITO reclaimed the $0.95 level, as such a move could invalidate the latest breakdown. Otherwise, continued weakness below that level would likely encourage sellers to extend the correction before buyers regain meaningful control. Until the Spot Taker CVD shifts back toward buyer dominance, rallies would remain vulnerable to renewed selling pressure.
